Mysteriosity is a game mechanic in GatesToInfinityTitle available in most dungeons after it's unlocked post-credits. ==Strange Power==
Levels
Between two floors, the player might be temporarily sent to another dungeon for a few floors. When this happens, the game displays the message "A strange power made you wander into a mysterious place!". It seems to be more likely to happen at higher Mysteriosity levels, and the destination depends on the current dungeon and floor.
Mysteriosity levels range from 0 to 5 and are displayed with an icon ( ) next to the name of the dungeon or job, or on the bottom screen when going to the next floor. They determine the probability of distortions on each floor of a dungeon. Dungeons where Mysteriosity is available have a random level on each in-game day when accessed from the Crossroads, however, jobs have a Mysteriosity level tied to them that stays the same regardless of the day.

One of the effects takes the player to another dungeon, or an alternate, illusory version of the current dungeon, for a certain amount of floors. The dungeon that is temporarily accessed seems to depend on dungeon and floor the Mysteriosity effects takes place on.

Mysteriosity (Japanese: 不思議(ふしぎ)) is a game mechanic in Nintendo 3DS Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity available in most dungeons after it's unlocked post-credits. Dungeons that are affected by Mysteriosity can also be affected by the Strange Power, which is the only way to access certain dungeons.

Categories

Each distortion belongs in one of three categories. Distortions in the Single category always happen alone, while distortions in the Combo categories happen in pairs of two distortions, one from the first Combo category, and another from the second.

Distortions

When going to a floor of a dungeon affected by Mysteriosity there is a chance to trigger a variety of mysterious distortions (Japanese: 不思議(ふしぎ)な ひずみ). On each floor there is either no distortion, one single distortion, or two distortions.

Enemies stronger or weaker than usual means they are leveled up or down respectively.

Levels

Mysteriosity levels range from 0 to 5 and are displayed with an icon (Gates to Infinity - Mysteriosity 1 icon.png Gates to Infinity - Mysteriosity 2 icon.png Gates to Infinity - Mysteriosity 3 icon.png Gates to Infinity - Mysteriosity 4 icon.png Gates to Infinity - Mysteriosity 5 icon.png) next to the name of the dungeon or job, or on the bottom screen when going to the next floor. They determine the probability of distortions on each floor of a dungeon. Dungeons where Mysteriosity is available have a random level on each in-game day when accessed from the Crossroads, however, jobs have a Mysteriosity level tied to them that stays the same regardless of the day.

First, the level determines the category of a floor.
