Curses (Japanese: 呪い) are a condition applied to items in Template:GameTitle. Curses prevent items from being used, or in case of Weapons, Shields and Bracelets, prevents them from being unequipped.
Acquisition
The Curse Girl monster family can curse the player's items and it's possible for naturally generated items in some dungeons to be cursed. One additional danger of unidentified items is they may also be cursed.
Removal
Concluding an Adventure removes curses from all items in the inventory.
Characters
The Exorcist Pilgrim Roamer randomly encountered in dungeons can also remove a curse from one item, which costs 500 Gitan.
Equipment
A curse on a weapon or shield can also be removed by reading a Plating Scroll on it, or a Heavenly Scroll on a weapon, or a Earthly Scroll on a shield.
Inventory
Curses can be removed by reading an Exorcism Scroll, normally removing the curse from a selected item, but also with a chance of removing curses from all items currently in the inventory except those inside a Pot.
