Gates:Team Attack

Team Attack (Japanese: ???) is a game mechanic in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. It is unlocked after completing Desolate Canyon early on in the story, when the hero and partner form their team and receive Team Badges, which are necessary to perform Team Attacks.

Using a Team Attack

While adventuring in a dungeon, if the player's party consists of more than one Pokémon, they will become in sync. When the party is fully in sync, a yellow Team Badge icon to the left of the leader's name on the top screen. When this happens, a Team Attack can be used by holding L and pressing the big button that appears on the touch screen. After it's used, it will take a while before the party is fully in sync again.

Methods to get fully in sync faster

• More party members makes it easier to get in sync.
• Holding a Coalition Scarf.
• The V-Wave effect "Easier Team Attacks".
• Being surrounded by enemies.
• A party member getting on low HP.

Effects

Using a Team Attack damages all foes in the area. It also has additional effects that change depending on the type of the leader. The more party members, the higher the damage dealt to enemies is.
