Moltres (Japanese: ファイヤー, Fire) is a Boss Pokémon in
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red and Blue Rescue Team. It is the boss of Mt. Blaze, and can be faced on floor 3 of Mt. Blaze Peak. It introduces itself using: 'I am Moltres! The Warrior of Fire am I!'
Plot
To learn more about Moltres as a character in Red and Blue Rescue Team, see: Moltres (character).
Moltres was on floor 3 of Mt. Blaze Peak. When reaching the floor, the Partner will notice the heat and decides to walk past quickly, but Moltres commands them to stop. With a 'Gyahhhh', pillars of fires shot out from the magma, and Moltres lands in front of the partner and the Hero suddenly. It introduces itself as the Warrior of Fire, and fights the player and the partner.
After it is defeated, the partner will explain that the natural disasters are appearing everywhere, and why they're there. Moltres agrees to let the player and the partner past as long as they find out the reason to the disasters and try to stop them.
After the player returns to the Pokémon Square after revealing the truth, it will be on floor 3 of Mt. Blaze and can be fought again. After the credits roll, it can be fought and recruited.

| Part of this page's history has been imported from the PMD Rescue Team Wiki. On September 11, 2019, the Gamepedia Shiren the Wanderer Wiki became the Gamepedia Mystery Dungeon Wiki. As part of the unification project between Fandom and Gamepedia, we absorbed the Rescue Team Wiki and its page histories. Some pages were originally deemed unworthy of being imported and were left behind. We've since imported them with the intent to preserve the edits and history of this community and its contributions, as well as to build upon them. In some cases, these pages have been created again by editors of the MDFW, and the Rescue Team page histories were imported into them at a later date. You can check if this is the case by visiting the page's history.
