The Metal Coat (Japanese: メタルコート) is an Evolution Item in Game Boy Advance/Nintendo DS Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red and Blue Rescue Team.

A total of 2 Pokémon need this item in order to evolve. It can only be used once.

It is exclusive to Southern Cavern and can be found in abundant numbers on the last two floors, 49 and 50.
