The Doom Seed (Japanese: ふこうのタネ, Unhappiness Seed) is a Seed in 
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red and Blue Rescue Team.
Eating a Doom Seed reduces the Pokémon's Level by 1, and also reduces its HP, Attack, Defense, Special Attack and Special Defense by an amount equivalent to what is gained by reaching the Level that was lost. After eating one Doom Seed, only 1 Experience Point is required to reach the next level, so even defeating a random single enemy is enough to get back to the previous level.
Tips for Use
Eating a Doom Seed may be useful in case the player wants to relearn the same level up move multiple times, as every time a Pokémon reaches certain levels, moves can be learned again. This allows them to learn multiples of the same move.
