Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity - Part 2 (Japanese: ポケモン不(ふ)思(し)議(ぎ)のダンジョン ～マグナゲートと∞(むげんだい)迷(めい)宮(きゅう)～ PV2（冒険篇）, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: ～Magnagates and Infinite Labyrinths～ PV2 (Adventure Episode)) was officially uploaded to YouTube to promote the release of  Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. Unlike previous anime specials, it is just a short rather than a full episode, consisting of two parts.

Plot

Starting Segment

Oshawott and Pikachu run from Munna's Gang in the Holehills before reaching a dead end. The two prepare to fight, but a mysterious Pokémon flies towards them.

Main Segment

Umbreon and Espeon summon a Magnagate to reach the Great Glacier with Oshawott, Pikachu, Dunsparce and Virizion for the first time. While they explore the inside of Glacier Palace, everyone except Oshawott starts having trouble breathing and collapses right before Kyurem appears from above.

Extra Segment

Kyurem advises Oshawott to leave Glacier Palace. This segment was not present in the original Japanese release, but was later available in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Magnagates and Infinite Labyrinths - 3 Special Short Movies.

Version differences

• In the dubs all Pokémon names are changed to their Western counterparts.
• In the dubs, after Umbreon explains they're about to summon a Magnagate, Oshawott asks Pikachu what it is when it appears in front of them, while in the original Japanese version he says "すごい" ("Amazing").

Trivia
