Marowak Dojo (Japanese: ガラガラどうじょう) is a location in Treasure Town, Grass Continent in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series. It is a building in which Pokémon train to become stronger. It is owned by Marowak.
History
Explorers of Time, Darkness, and Sky
The dojo was originally built by Marowak's grandfather. Prior to the Destruction of Time, the Marowak Dojo had gone out of business, as its services were no longer needed, however, Marowak had promised that he would bring it back to its former glory. During Bidoof's Wish, Bidoof visited the dojo, and while it was already out of business, Marowak was present, and gifted him a Reviver Seed, promising to reopen the dojo and asking him to remember this promise whenever he sees the seed. Eventually, it was re-opened, and Vigoroth was hired by Marowak to advertise it around Treasure Town.
The hero and the partner are the first clients after the re-opening, and Marowak, happy to have clients at all, decides to offer dojo services for free.
After the two complete all of the dojo's training mazes, Marowak gives them his personal treasure, a Joy Seed, as a trophy.[1]
After a wall inside the dojo crumbled, the entrance to the Final Maze was revealed. At that point, Marowak remembers that his grandfather told him he had built a wall to close the entrance to this dangerous cave. Scared, he asks the hero and partner to not explore the dungeon. When the two eventually complete the dungeon, Marowak is surprised and gives them his grandfather's treasure, a Bow.[2]
