Blank Scroll (Japanese: 白紙の巻物) is a Scroll in Wii Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 3 - The Sleeping Princess and the Karakuri Mansion. Despite what their value implies, Blank Scrolls are the single most valuable scrolls in Shiren 3. Blank Scrolls can be written with the name of any other scroll and use that scroll effect in dungeons, so long as the player has previously read that scroll. Blank Scrolls are created when a Soaked Scroll is dried out when the player progresses from one floor to another.

Tips For Use

While there are many uses for a Blank Scroll, the first use should always be to create a Drought Scroll, as it allows the player to submerge as many scrolls as they have, drain the water, and retrieve them. In doing so, the player can create an endless supply of Blank Scrolls. From there, it depends on what the player has previously read, as Distress Scrolls, Destroyer Scrolls, and Sanctuary Scrolls are valuable. However, not every situation calls for such scrolls, and sometimes a Dragon Orb Scroll might be needed in a dungeon with Dragon Orbs, or an Escape Scroll to keep loot, and so on.
