Firebrand (Japanese: 火迅風魔刀) is a One-handed Weapon in  Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 3 - The Sleeping Princess and the Karakuri Mansion. Firebrands are an upgraded Katana that has been transformed.

Adding the following runes to a Katana, raising it to +40, and offering it to a Fire Dragon Orb rune will transform it into a Firebrand.

3. Random #2

Tips For Use

Firebrands make for an excellent, albeit hard-to-obtain primary weapon. Since they require the flame rune from the Flame Sword, it might be better to hold out for a Kabra's Blade and go for a Kabra Reborn instead. Alternatively, a Sacred Sword would make for a better primary weapon, making the Firebrand more of an iconic novelty weapon.
