Failure (Japanese: からぶり) is a Status Abnormality in 
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer DS2 - Magic Castle of the Desert.
Effect on Shiren
Shiren will miss all melee attacks. Ranged attacks such as firing Projectiles, swinging Staves, reading Scrolls or throwing Items.
How to get affected
There are a few ways to be inflicted with this status condition:
- Whiff Hermit can make Shiren fail main attacks for 5 turns.
- Read a Failure Scroll
. - Get hit by a magic bolt from a Failure Staff.
How to cure
The only way to get rid of this status condition is to wait until the effect wears off, or by transforming into a Monster by eating its specific Monster Meat.
A Homing Blade or a Weapon with its Seal will guarantee that all attacks hit their target, even while affected by this state.[Citation needed]
