Riceball (Japanese: おにぎり) is a Status Abnormality in 
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer DS2 - Magic Castle of the Desert.
Effect on Shiren
Shiren will take the form of a Riceball and the player will be unable to access the inventory, use or pick up items on the ground. Weapon and Shield strength will drop to 0; any equipment Seals, including those in Armbands will also not work. If the player steps on a Rotten Trap or takes explosion damage during this time, Shiren will be defeated instantly.
How to get affected
There are a few ways to get this status condition:
- Let a Rice Boss or Rice Master breathe on Shiren
- Get hit by magic bolts from Skull Wraith or Skull Demon with a Riceball effect
- Get hit by a reflected bolt from a Bufu's Staff.[Citation needed]
How to cure
Because the Riceball status restricts access to Shiren's inventory, it's impossible to cure. However, a Prism Shield will transform the special abilities of Rice Changer monsters into 10 damage, while an Echo Shield
will reflect magic bolts from Skull Mage.
