'Hit Point Drain (Japanese: HP減少) is a Status Abnormality in 
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer DS2 - Magic Castle of the Desert.
Effect on Shiren
Shiren will lose 1 HP every turn for 10 - 40 turns. The menu interface will change to that of the In Trouble state. The run button will also not work during this time, similar to the Hungry state.
How to get affected
There is only one way to get this status condition:
- Get hit by a Fog Hermit Monsters strange spell while under the No Natural Recovery status; the effect's duration will depend on the monster's level:
- 10 turns from Fog Hermit (level 1)
- 20 turns from Haze Hermit (level 2)
- 30 turns from Mist Hermit (level 3)
- 40 turns from Cloud Hermit (level 4)
How to cure
The only way to get rid of this status condition before it wears out, is transforming into a monster by eating its specific Monster Meat.
