High Rail in Mystery Dungeon!? (Japanese: 不思議のダンジョンにハイレール!?) is a comedic live action short movie in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series. It is an adaptation of the beginning of the Gates to Infinity Scenario. Actors interpret characters while wearing costumes that resemble the Pokémon, and text boxes that look like those in the game appear on the screen. Comparisons to the game are occasionally shown. It is about 10 minutes long.
Plot
Doctor Red invents a new machine, a headset, which he tries on Yamamoto
. Upon activating, Yamamoto falls asleep, and finds himself in the world of Pokémon as a Pikachu. The two Pokémon form a team, and in Pokémon Paradise they pick a job from the Request Board with the help of Azumarill. They find a rescue request from Dunsparce and head to the location. Along the way, they meet two Cottonee. Eventually, Pikachu rescues Dunsparce. Back at Pokémon Paradise, they meet Victini, who lets them spin the V-Wheel. Then, they noticed a Wanted Poster for a Druddigon, so Pikachu, Snivy, and Dunsparce head to perform the request, during which they step on a variety of Traps. Because of the effect of a Spin Trap, the three party members find themselves in the water, and once outside, they fight the Druddigon, but still have trouble fighting him. Virizion appears and easily defeats the outlaw.
