Asuka (Japanese: アスカ) is a Travel Companion in Template:GameTitle. After being unlocked, she can be found in dungeons, where the player can talk to her and have her join Shiren. She is a playable character as part of the second part of the Plus Pack DLC bundle. Asuka can be selected as a playable character when entering a dungeon from the Sacred Tree.

Unlike other characters, she equips the Weapons and Shields the player throws at her. Throwing another when she already has equipment makes her drop her previous item. The player can check her equipment by talking to her. When she is defeated, she drops her equipment.

Abilities

Upon playing as Asuka at the Sacred Tree, she plays similarly to Shiren with some tweaks to differentiate from him.

• Her base Attack points and Critical Hit chances are increased
• Her base HP and base Defense points are decreased.
• Wielding a weapon raises her Attack higher.
• Wielding a shield raises her Defense higher.
• She may have a randomly selected Peach Bun when going to the next floor of a dungeon.
• In the Sumo Status Condition, she will always have Critical Hits in exchange for faster depleting Fullness.

No: Very well... It's a pity. If you wish for my company at a later time, come find me and I'll oblige.

Default: I am a swordswoman. If there is a weapon or shield you'd like me to wield, throw it at me.
