Tugai (Japanese: トゥガイ) is a Travel Companion in / Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island. After being unlocked, he can be found in dungeons, where the player can talk to him and have him join Shiren.

Attack

Tugai can use an attack called Black Shark Slash (Japanese: ???), which can result in a Critical Hit.

Meeting: Hey, good to see you. We can work together, if you want. Whaddya say?

Yes: Let’s do this!

No: Oh yeah? Well, if you don’t feel like it, then that’s that.

Default: If you’re in a pinch, I’ll protect you. That’s what a captain does for his crew.

Removing: You wanna split? All right, then! If you find any good treasure, send some my way!

Decreased health: Huh? Wait a sec... Am I in a pinch here?
