Kokatsu Shiren (Japanese: 狐渇シレン) is a playable character in /
Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island. He is the fusion of Shiren and Kokatsu, and is controlled by the player in dungeons. Kokatsu Shiren is unlocked by entering Cavern of Suiryu.
As of the version 1.1.0 update, Kokatsu Shiren is accessible from the Sacred Tree as a playable character in every dungeon once it is unlocked. Prior to that, he was only playable in the Cavern of Suiryu.
Limitations
Kokatsu Shiren cannot equip Weapons, Shields, Bracelets, or use Projectile items.
Attack
Kokatsu Shiren's A button attack creates pillars of fire in front of him. At first, it only attacks one tile in front, however, the range increases by 1 tile after one enemy is defeated, and continues to increase up to 3 tiles. This is visually represented by the flames on Kokatsu Shiren's head. Getting hit or affected by Status Conditions resets the range.
