Leg Bind (Japanese: 脚封じ) is an ailment in Etrian Mystery Dungeon.

Effects

A character or an enemy affected by Leg Bind cannot use Skills that require Leg, and they are unable to move or to use stairs. The effects of Leg Bind can be cured by 5~ turns, or by using any skills or items that cure ailments.

• Gunner's Leg Snipe can inflict Leg Bind for 5 turns.
• Hexer's Immobile Curse inflicts Leg Bind for 5 turns at Lv 1,2 and 3 and for 6 turns at Lv 4 and 5.
• Ninja's Shadow Bind inflicts Leg Bind for 5 turns at Lv 1,2 and 3 and for 6 turns at Lv 4 and 5.

Monsters

• Fanged Vine's Tangling Vine can inflict Leg Bind for 5 turns.
• Forest Frog's Sticky Tongue can inflict Leg Bind for 5 turns.
• Glutton Vine's Tangling Vine can inflict Leg Bind for 5 turns.
• Grand Binder's Foot Tangle can inflict Leg Bind for 5 turns.
• Great Dragon's Red Fang can inflict Leg Bind for 5 turns.
• Hexgourd's Coiling Vine can inflict Leg Bind for 5 turns.
• Sky Kaiser's Resistless Chaos can inflict Leg Bind for 5 turns.
• Spotted Frog's Sticky Tongue can inflict Leg Bind for 5 turns.
• Vengeful Minion's Fall Before Me can inflict Leg Bind for 5 turns.

• Weapons with the Leg Bind effect can bind monsters when an attack hits a monster. This effect can be added to weapons by Forging them.
• Leg Eater, Madfa and Pepperbox are Guns that can inflict Leg Bind without forging.
• Vajra is a Staff that can inflict Leg Bind without forging.
• Balmung, Cavalier Killer and Talwar are Swords that can inflict Leg Bind without forging.
• Sewing Sigil inflicts Leg Bind for 5 turns.

Traps

• Binding Trap inflicts Leg Bind for 5 turns.
• Vine Trap inflicts Leg Bind for 5 turns.

Tips

Most classes have no Leg skills at all, the only classes to have Leg Skill are Dancer, Ninja and Wanderer. The most dangerous effect with Leg Bind for the player is the fact that they keep the player from moving, meaning that it is no longer possible to flee.

Like other Binds, the player can inflict Leg Bind on monsters to prevent them from using specific skills. It can also be used to prevent monsters to move closer to the player.
