Template:GameTitle takes inspiration from Template:GameTitle and even Chunsoft's earlier work on the main Dragon Quest series.
Dragon Quest III
- While Chunsoft worked on the original Dragon Quest III game, the Personality Test originates from the Super Famicom remake of the game developed by Heartbeat (now Genius Sonority), in which the player also takes a personality test at the beginning of the game.[1]
Torneko 2
- Like Torneko 2, Rescue Team consists of multiple dungeons that are unlocked by progressing the story and can be accessed from a menu, rather than a single main dungeon and some bonus dungeons like previous games.
- Completing dungeons in Torneko 2 rewards with decorative Statues that are placed in Torneko's home. This is similar to the Statues placed outside the Rescue Team Base.
Torneko 3
- Torneko 3 features recruitment mechanics similar to those later found in Rescue Team.
