A different logo was used for the Nintendo Classics' Expansion Pack release in 2024. It has a different left to right, light to dark gradient and lacks internal shadows. A different version of the box art using this logo was published online. The logo is seen on official websites, and the new box art with the new logo can be seen on official websites and in the menu to select the North American version game. The same menu still uses the original European English box art for the European version, although this new English logo is used in the European Nintendo Classics pages on the Nintendo Switch itself[1] and on official websites.[2] It may be a prototype version of the North American logo.[3]
