The Kigny (Japanese: キグニ族) monster family is a monster present in the Shiren the Wanderer series. It made its debut in Template:GameTitle in 1995, making it one of the Original Monster Families.
Related additional monsters include the King of the Kigny that first appeared in Template:GameTitle in 2006, and a cameo appearance in the Danganronpa series in 2021, under the name Gangstakuma.

Characteristics
While it levels up and changes colors like other monster families in the games, its name remains the same, only adding a number to the end. This mechanic is used in various games in the series for monsters that can level up past their normal levels, such as a Gitan Mamel45 in Shiren 3.

Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp
In Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp (Japanese: ハッピーダンガンロンパS 超高校級の南国サイコロ合宿), an unnamed monster was shown during the game's reveal trailer on June 15, 2021 at E3 2021.[1][2] It is a fusion between a Kigny and Monokuma.
