Adventures (Japanese: 回目)are the part of Super Famicom Torneko's Great Adventure: Mystery Dungeon(UT) - This is an unofficial translation. during which most of the gameplay takes place. An Adventure begins when entering a dungeon, and ends when leaving it. The total number of Adventures Torneko has been on is displayed on the Top Menu for each savefile.

Starting and Concluding an Adventure

An Adventure begins by entering a dungeon, and it ends in either success or failure. An Adventure ends in failure if Torneko faints. An Adventure is succeeded by leaving the dungeon successfully, either by climbing back up the dungeon after acquiring one of the goal item or by using an Outside Scroll(UT) - This is an unofficial translation.. If an Adventure is succeeded, the player keeps all of the Gold and items he acquired during the Adventure.

Consequences of failing an Adventure

Failing an Adventure makes the player lose all the items currently in the inventory. If the item Safe(UT) - This is an unofficial translation., which can always be found on floor 10 of the Magic Dungeon, is in the inventory, all of the current Gold is kept; otherwise, the player only keeps half of the current Gold.

Some characters explain that the items are stolen by Demonites, and the Gold is stolen by Trick Bags. After failing, an animation shows Torneko being thrown out of the dungeon by Mommonjas.

High Score

The leaderboard, which can also be seen from the Top Menu, appears after an Adventure ends, and it shows the top 10 most profitable (amount of Gold obtained) Adventures in the save file across all three dungeons, with an explanation of the conditions in which the Adventure ended.
