Tentacool (Japanese: メノクラゲ) is a dual Water-type/Poison-type Pokémon species that appears in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series. It made its debut in / Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red and Blue Rescue Team in 2005. It evolves into Tentacruel.

Name Etymology

Tentacool may be a combination of "Tentacle" and "Cool". While Jellyfish are known to thrive in warm water, they can also thrive in colder waters.
