Metapod (Japanese: トランセル) is a Bug-type Pokémon species that appears in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series. It made its debut in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red and Blue Rescue Team in 2005. It evolves from Caterpie, and evolves into Butterfree.
