Masayasu Yamamoto (Japanese: 山本 雅康) is a video game programmer. Throughout his career, he was known to work in this role for many franchises from Spike Chunsoft, but also for Telenet and Atlus before the 2000s.

Career

In the 1980s, Yamamoto worked on PC-88 and X1 games at Nihon Telnet, and in the 90s he made games for Super Famicom and PlayStation for Climax and Matrix. As of today, he works at Spike Chunsoft, known before the merge as Chunsoft.

In the Mystery Dungeon franchise, he participated numerous time as a programmer, sometimes as the main programmer of the team.
