The Asuka the Swordswoman PC GAMESPOT Wallpapers were released in 2002, the earliest known archive date is November 2002.[2][3][4]
The Shiren 1 DS Japanese Desktop Backgrounds were originally downloadable in various sizes from the Chunsoft x SEGA Website for 
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer in 2006.[5]
The Shiren 3 Wii English Desktop Backgrounds were originally downloadable in various sizes from the Atlus Website for 
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 3 - The Sleeping Princess and the Karakuri Mansion.[6]
The Shiren 5 DS Desktop Backgrounds featured the Shiren 5 DS cover artwork and was released on the Yoriki Daigo's Shiren 5 DS Blog on November 1, 2010.[7]
Players with PS Plus who downloaded the demo of Shiren 5 Vita between April 1 and 23, 2015 would receive a free Vita Wallpaper.[8]
