Dread Muspell (Japanese: 怨讐のムスペル) is the boss of Muspelheim and of Equinox Garden and the final boss of Etrian Mystery Dungeon.

It starts its battle with a Spiteful Hand and a Vengeful Minion next to it. Dread Muspell doesn't do anything until she has lost around 1,200 HP. Dread Muspell cannot move, but Spiteful Hand and Vengeful Minion can.

Spiteful Hand will try to deals damage before trying to summons DOE, so keeping a party member at range for its attacks will keep it from summoning. DOEs can use Amber Lure, but it will only teleports Vengeful Minion next to them. As Dread Muspell does not act until she lost around half its HP, it is recommended to kill Spiteful Hand and Vengeful Minion before damaging it. Killing Dread Muspell ends the fight, even if DOEs, Spiteful Hand or Vengeful Minion are still alive.

There are traps in its room that could be dangerous if you move.

Nemesis Grudge	宿敵よ我が下に	Head	Summons random enemies in the room close to self and deals damage that ignores defense.	Between 1 and 4 attacks that deals 20 HP of damage to random party member in the room, and the affected party member are teleported next to the boss.
