Adventures (Japanese: ???), referred to as N(UT) - This is an unofficial translation. on the Main Menu in the Torneko 1 English unofficial translation, are the part of Template:GameTitle during which most of the gameplay takes place. An Adventure begins when entering a dungeon, and ends when it is left. Adventures are counted on the Main Menu.

Starting and Concluding an Adventure

An Adventure begins by entering a dungeon, and it ends in either success or failure. An Adventure ends in failure if Torneko faints. An Adventure is succeeded by leaving the dungeon successfully, either normally by climbing back up the dungeon or by using an Outside Scroll(UT) - This is an unofficial translation.. If an Adventure is succeeded, the player keeps all of the Gold and items currently in the inventory.

Consequences of failing an Adventure

Failing an Adventure makes the player lose all the items currently in the inventory. If the item Safe(UT) - This is an unofficial translation., which can always be found on floor 10 of the Mysterious Dungeon(UT) - This is an unofficial translation., is in the inventory, all of the current Gold is kept; otherwise, the player only keeps half of the current Gold.

Some characters explain that, lore-wise, the items are stolen by Demonites, and the Gold is stolen by Trick Bags.

After failing, an animation shows Taloon being thrown out of the dungeon by Monjars.

High Score

The leaderboard, which can also be seen from the Main Menu, appears after an Adventure ends, and it shows the top 10 most profitable (amount of Gold obtained) Adventures in the save file across all three dungeons, with an explanation of the conditions in which the Adventure ended.
