Ultimate Dungeons are the definitive challenge dungeons in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series. They are often 99 floors long and involve restrictions upon entering the dungeon, such as the level resetting to 1, only the leader being allowed, or being unable to bring in items or Poké. Some games may have more than one ultimate dungeon, for reasons such as additional content getting added through re-releases or DLC.
