Skill Bind (Japanese: スキル封じ) is an ailment in Etrian Mystery Dungeon.

Effects

A character or an enemy affected by Skill Bind cannot use any Skills. The effects of Skill Bind can be cured by 5~ turns, or by using any skills or items that cure ailments.

How is it inflicted

Classes

• Wanderer's Binding Strike can inflict Skill Bind for 5 turns.

Monsters

• Dragonfly's Binding Ambush can inflict Skill Bind for 5 turns.
• Gasser Tree's Poisonous Bind can inflict Skill Bind for 5 turns.
• Sky Kaiser's Resistless Chaos can inflict Skill Bind for 5 turns.

Items

• Weapons with the Skill Bind effect can bind monsters when an attack hits a monster. This effect can be added to weapons by Forging them.
• Sealing Sigil inflicts Skill Bind for 5 turns.

Traps

• Mute Trap inflicts Skill Bind for 5 turns.

Tips

The only reason to inflict Skill Bind to monsters is to prevent them from using skills.
