In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity the data structure for each Pokémon species in pokemon/pokemon_data_info.bin contains an extra, always empty, byte right after the two bytes for the two regular Abilities. It can be inferred that this byte was meant for hidden abilities, extra abilities introduced in Pokémon Black and White. The Victory Star ability is unused, because Victini can only be found as a character and can't be recruited. It is currently unknown if Victory Star is functional.
