Moonlight Village Scenario refers to a scenario in Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer series. It made its debut in 1996 with 
History
Moonlight Village is usually a quiet place with little interaction with other villages. However, for the past few years, a monster has taken up residence in the "Dragon's Jaw" cave on the outskirts of the village, causing the villagers to live in fear. There have been several attempts to exterminate the monster, but no one has returned alive. The village chief, fearing further damage, has been offering a village child once a year to ensure the village's safety for that year.
