The Staff of Paralysis (Japanese: かなしばりのつえ) is a Staff in 
Tips For Use
- Using a Staff of Paralysis on a monster in a hallway or entrance of a room can be used to block Shiren off from the rest of the floor, allowing him to pass turns to regenerate HP, or rearrange his inventory.
- Provided you or a monster doesn't interact with the targeted monster after being paralysed, they will not be a threat for the duration of the floor.
- Certain monsters are more useful to Shiren alive, and keeping them alive without them attacking you, following you, or simply moving around can be convenient - for example, Dead Soldiers.
