The Staff of Postpone (Japanese: いちじしのぎのつえ) is a Staff in Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer GB - Monster of Moonlight Village. When swung, it will fire a bolt that will teleport the Monster or Character it hits to the exit, and will paralyse them until they are interacted with again.

Tips For Use

As the name of the staff hints at, the Staff of Postpone allows Shiren to deal with monsters later if he is ill-equipped to deal with them for the time being, or will be able to take advantage of them more later on. Additionally, with the right items - such as a Switching Staff or Knockback Staff, having a dangerous monster paralysed on top of the exit allows Shiren to move to the next floor without having to fight them.
Certain monsters are more useful to Shiren alive, and keeping them alive without them attacking you, following you, or simply moving around can be convenient - for example, Dead Soldiers.
