Scrolls (Japanese: 巻物) are single-use items that you read to activate in Template:GameTitle. Reading a Scroll destroys it. Scrolls can have some extreme effects — from permanently powering up your Weapons, to creating an entire roomful of monsters. Scrolls (like many other items) start out unidentified in the Fay's Final Puzzle dungeon but start out identified in all of the others. Reading an unidentified scroll can be a dangerous lesson or an amazing boon. Use their power with care!
