List of Staves in Shiren the Wanderer 3 - The Sleeping Princess and the Karakuri Mansion Wii

Staves are wooden sticks that can contain a variety of useful and/or dangerous powers that the Player Characters can swing or throw at his enemies. Each stave can have a charge value of 0 to 99, though they're limited to a max of 10 until you finish the story. Item Identification a staff should always be treated with caution. While some have beneficial effects like changing a dangerous leveled up Monsters into a weaker enemy, others can turn monsters Invisible or speed them up. A staff with 0 charges left isn't entirely worthless either. They can be thrown at an enemy for one last use, though this have a chance to miss. Used staves can be sold in Shops or inserted into a Strengthening Jar or offered to a Dragon Orbs to increase their number of charges again.

It's possible to increase the charges of staves using 3 different methods.

  • Insert 2 staves of the same type into a Melding Jar or throw them at a Mixer Family monster, they will be combined into one. Even if a Cursed stave is inserted after a non-cursed staff, the end result will be a cursed staff.
  • Method 2 is to offer them to a Dragon Orb and wait for the charges to increase. New staves may spawn and the staff might be converted to another type.
  • The final method is to use a Strengthening Jar.

Blaze Staff 双熱竜の杖 800 40 80 4 Level 2 Fire Staff. Inflicts damage to all monsters in the room when swung. For monsters of the same element, the damage is reduced.
Bolt Staff 雷竜の杖 600 30 60 3 Level 1 Thunder Staff. Inflicts damage to all monsters in the room when swung. For monsters of the same element, the damage is reduced.
