The Skull Staff (Japanese: ガイコツまどうの杖) is a staff introduced to the Super Famicom release of Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer DS. It is dropped randomly by a Skull Mage Family Monster. When swung, it will fire a magic bolt that can have a number of random effects:

  • Warp the target to a random location on the floor.
  • Confuse the target
  • Make the target fall Asleep.
  • Slow the target.
