Shiren 1 DS:Windshield

The Windshield (Japanese: 風魔の盾) is a shield introduced in the Super Famicom release of Shiren 1. It lacks a shield Seal. When maximally upgraded and brought to a Blacksmith, he will say that he doesn't do shields but quickly re-considers it and return with a Stormward.

Blacksmith

I don't do shields...

Huh?

I wonder... if I change that...

Hang on for a second.

He goes in the back, as usual, and returns saying

Whew...

I changed the welds to make it stronger.

But don't tell anyone, 'cause I normally don't do shields.

He then gives you a Stormward.
