This template's goal is to make linking to character pages in the Pokémon namespace quicker and cleaner.

{{PkmnC|Grovyle}}

will result in:
Grovyle

As opposed to:

[[Pkmn:Hydreigon (character)|Hydreigon]]
{{Pkmn|Hydreigon (character)|Hydreigon}}

will result in:
Hydreigon
Hydreigon
