This article is a draft relating to Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon. Articles are created and sometimes moved to the Draft namespace for numerous reasons. "Super MD:Attack" needs to be either updated to fit the current Manual of Style or lacks relevant information and content.
This emera boosts all stats significantly. Attack and Special Attack are raised by +3 stages. Accuracy and Evasion are raised by +5 stages. It doesn't change Defense or Special Defense. It prevents Tiny Reviver Seeds, Ally Reviver, and similar items from reviving the holder.
It increases Attack by +1 stage. When combined with the Power Boost Y emera, accuracy is raised by +2 stages. Using this emera as an item increases your Attack stat by 2 points temporarily.
When the Pokémon's stats are lowered, the Pokémon's Attack increases by +2 stages. Defiant doesn't activate multiple times against effects that lower a stat by several stages or lower multiple stats.
The Pokémon's Attack or Special Attack may go up when the Pokemon uses a move on an enemy. This also includes using status moves on a foe. You can only get +2 stages in Attack if the enemy's Special Defense stat is higher than its Defense. If the foe's Defense and Special Defense are equal, Special Attack will be raised. Download cannot activate against party members.
If the floor is Sunny or has Extremely Harsh Sunlight, this ability will activate and raise the Attack and Special Defense of teammates in the same room by +2 stages. This ability does not affect the user, only allies. Other teammates with this ability can give this buff to the Pokémon, though. This ability does not stack.
Resets the Pokémon's Attack, Special Attack, Defense, Special Defense, accuracy, and evasiveness.
Can be positive or negative depending on the circumstances.
Pokémon Formes That Affect Attack
Some Pokémon forms have passive stat stage modifiers. These modifiers cannot be altered by any effects that interact with visible stat changes, such as Haze, Psych Up, Heart Swap, Foresight, Power Trick, or Topsy-Turvy. They're also unaffected by abilities, such as Simple and Contrary. Transform also cannot copy these stat changes. Punishment can't detect passive stat changes during damage calculation. These passive stat changes can only be modified by specific effects that indirectly affect stat stages, such as Gravity, Sandstorm, various emeras, and abilities, such as Snow Cloak and Tangled Feet. They can also be swapped with the move Wonder Room. However, they can still be ignored just like any other visible stat change with abilities, such as Unaware, Keen Eye, No Guard, and with moves such as Chip Away and Sacred Sword.
