Pokémon Formes That Affect Attack
Some Pokémon forms have passive stat stage modifiers. These modifiers cannot be altered by any effects that interact with visible stat changes, such as Haze, Psych Up, Heart Swap, Foresight, or Topsy-Turvy. They're also unaffected by abilities, such as Simple and Contrary. Transform also cannot copy these stat changes. Punishment can't detect passive stat changes during damage calculation. These passive stat changes can only be modified by specific effects that indirectly affect stat stages, such as Gravity, Sandstorm, various emeras, and abilities, such as Snow Cloak and Tangled Feet. They can also be swapped with the move Wonder Room. However, they can still be ignored just like any other visible stat change with abilities, such as Unaware, Keen Eye, No Guard, and with moves such as Chip Away and Sacred Sword.
