Wonder Room (Japanese: ワンダールーム) is a Psychic-type Move in Nintendo 3DS Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon.

Effect

Wonder Room swaps the Defense and Special Defense stats of all Pokémon on the floor and can be ended early if Wonder Room is used again. This move swaps the Pokémon's Defense and Special Defense stats, stat stage changes, the defensive stat an ability will affect, and the innate defensive boosts some Pokémon formes receive. It is currently unknown if Wonder Room doesn't affect certain Pokémon or disables specific abilities and items, but it is known that it can affect Bosses.

A Pokémon holding a looplet with the Guard Boost emera will have their Special Defense increased by +1 stage instead of their Defense, depending on how many Guard Boost emeras they have set.

Pokémon empowered by the Flower Gift ability will have their Attack and Defense raised by +2 stages rather than the usual Attack and Special Defense.

Pokémon fortified by the ability Marvel Scale have their Special Defense raised instead of their Defense.

Reflect and Light Screen are not affected by Wonder Room as they do not alter Defense or Special Defense, but rather center on reducing damage of moves in the physical and special categories, respectively.

The Intimidate and Fur Coat abilities are not affected by Wonder Room as they reduce damage from physical attacks and don't modify raw defensiveness to do so.

Wonder Room, however, does swap the Special Defense boost provided by sandstorms to Rock-types. It also can swap the inherent Defense and Special Defense boosts of certain Pokémon formes such as Deoxys (Defense Forme).
