Blade Chronicle: Samurai Online

Shiren appears as a costume in Blade Chronicle: Samurai Online on October 28, 2009. It is the earliest cameo appearance of Shiren in a different video game.[1]

Twin Sword Dance Online

Twin Blade Dance Online players would receive the "Shiren the Wanderer Travel Costume Set"(UT) - This is an unofficial translation. (Japanese: 風来のシレン旅装束セット) as part of the Shiren the Wanderer x Twin Sword Dance Online Campaign(UT) - This is an unofficial translation. (Japanese: 風来のシレン×双剣舞曲キャンペーン) in June 2011.[2]

Terraria

Shiren appears as a costume in the Wii U and PlayStation 3 releases of Terraria, exclusively in Japan. His costume is known as the "Shiren Set" (Japanese: ふうらいにんの衣装).[3]

Etrian Mystery Dungeon

In Nintendo 3DS Etrian Mystery Dungeon, a costume based on Shiren is available. It is labeled as the Wanderer class.

Mystery Chronicle: One Way Heroics

Shiren appears as a DLC character in PlayStation 4/PlayStation Vita/Steam Mystery Chronicle: One Way Heroics among with other characters from The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate.

Doko Demo Issyo

On August 26, 2015, a collaboration for Doko Demo Issyo was announced. It features both Shiren the Wanderer and Asuka as costumes for Toro and Kuso respectively.[4]

RPG Maker MV

On December 15, 2015, an expansion pack for RPG Maker MV was announced for the PC version. It features both Shiren the Wanderer and Asuka as custom protagonists as well as elements from the series. The pack was released two days after its announcement.[5]

Crypt of the NecroDancer

In an issue of Weekly Famitsu column on November 26, 2015, a free update for Crypt of the NecroDancer (Japanese: クリプト・オブ・ネクロダンサー) was announced then released in Japan on January 18, 2016 and Worldwide on August 22, 2017 on Steam[6] It features characters from the Danganronpa, Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble and Shiren the Wanderer series. Both Shiren the Wanderer and Asuka were made available as character skins. The update works even if you do not own any DLC.

Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2

Like in the previous title, in Nintendo 3DS Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2(CT), a costume based on Shiren is available. It is also labeled as the Wanderer class.

Seikimatsu Days: Our Era's End

Shiren appears as a pre-registration character in Seikimatsu Days: Our Era's End (Japanese: 世紀末デイズ). On July 5, 2018, he was announced to be a bonus character in the game if it hit fifty thousand pre-registration, as seen on their milestone event rewards behind many other bonuses.[7]

Katana Kami: A Way of the Samurai Story

Announced on November 20, 2019 via 4gamer[8], a DLC pack for the game Katana Kami: A Way of the Samurai Story (Japanese: 侍道外伝 KATANAKAMI, Samurai Gaiden KATANAKAMI) titled "Wanderer Set" (Japanese: 風来人セット) was announced for first-print copies. The DLC includes blueprints for both weapons. It was released with the game on February 20, 2020 and available for free from February 20 to 27, 2020.[9][10]. In a later announcement, the DLC was made available and purchasable on June 4, 2020.[11] Accessories (Wanderer Hat, Wanderer Cape, Wanderer Itachi) can be worn in three different positions.

The DLC consists of:

  • Wanderer Set (Japanese: 風来人セット)
    • Wanderer Outfit (Japanese: 風来人の衣装と刀を追加)
The costume of a wanderer that has gone through many nations. He travels with a talking weasel and overcomes many hardships.
    • Wanderer Hat (Japanese: 風来人の三度笠（装飾品）)
A straw hat for a wanderer that travels to many nations. It is said to be a keepsake of an old friend.
Effect: Maximum HP +300. Maximum Vitality +300.
    • Wanderer Cape (Japanese: 風来人の道中合羽（装飾品）)
A raincoat for a wanderer that travels to many nations. It is said that wearing this will help you overcome any obstacle.
Effect: Defense +5.
    • Wanderer Itachi (Japanese: 風来人のイタチ（装飾品）)
A talking weasel that accompanies the wanderer that travels to many nations. It says everything you want to say.
Effect: Skill Exp. gained up +15%. Exp. gained up +15%.
  • Kabra's Blade (Japanese: マンジカブラ)
The elusive sword forged by the genius swordsmith Kabura. Extremely lethal; you'd never want to give this up. Famous for being yielded by a wanderer from another nation, but will vanish if the wielder dies.
  • Kabra Reborn (Japanese: カブラステギ)
A mysterious sword that can only be owned by a true wanderer. A sword made of legendary material, but once you know how to make it, anyone can craft it.

AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative

The character Tama can wear Shiren's kasa occasionally.

Shiren himself appears in AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative (Japanese: AI: ソムニウム ファイル ニルヴァーナ イニシアチブ) as a Kusemon to be used in fights, inspired by the Pokémon series. When the egg is found, it hatches and the "[SC]Wanderer" card is added to the player's team. Shiren has a Kabra Reborn+99 in this game, the last upgrade of the Kaburagi Family weapons.
