Carpet is a Special Tile in  Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2 that indicates that there is the Bewitching Dungeon Shop in this room. Dropping an item on a Carpet and talking to the Dark Merchant will allow the player to sell this item. Items owned by the Dark Merchant can be picked up to be purchased. Picking up items and not purchasing them will result in the player being labeled a thief and attacked by Zebratheriums. Carpets are purple on the bottom screen map.
