The Kecleon Shop in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series may refer to:

In the Mystery Dungeon games, there is a shop run a Kecleon who can sell items to the player in exchange for gold. They can be found hidden in dungeons.

Town Shop

In the town areas, there are shops that are run by Kecleon who can provide items and sell it.

In Red and Blue Rescue Team and Rescue Team DX, the store is run by two Kecleon brothers, one of them being purple. The left side is for usual items you can find in dungeons, while the right side is for TMs.

Later on in the game players can find Kecleon shops lying around in dungeons. These shops contain tiles with a fancy rug style and about 6-9 items laying in the middle. When a player encounters one, they get the chance to use some of the gold on-hand to pick up items midway. They can also use this to sell objects by placing them on the ground or by swapping them.

When one's about to leave, Kecleon will ask the player to pay up. If one refuses in Red/Blue Rescue Team and Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky, you’ll be considered a thief, where starting from Gates to Infinity, you will get the chance to put the items back. Any attempts to run off with items without paying will make you a thief.

Theft

An example of what happens when theft is committed.

If one were to steal from Kecleon, they will end up being considered a thief, the music changes, and Kecleon will then begin to attack the team. Kecleon has a massive load of stats making it almost useless to resist unless you have a very strong Pokémon. The area will also began to swarm with Kecleon replacing any other wild Pokémon there are.

If one wipes out, they will be denied asking for rescue as they refuse to rescue thieves, forcing them to give up and lose all the rewards they have as punishment.
