Forging (Japanese: 鍛冶) in Nintendo 3DS Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2(CT) is a service in Garaku Studio that apply to Weapons and Shields. Forge is unlocked after completing Emerald Hollow.

To forge a weapon or a shield, you must use Materials depending on the item. Forge adds effects, such as resistance or Stat increases, in free forge slots. Effects added by forging can be overwritten by other effects by reusing forging. Some weapons and shields already have innate effects that cannot be replaced. The different forging effects are unlocked by completing Quests.
