Debug Mode is an unused mode in Template:GameTitle originally used by developers to test things in-game. While in debug mode, if the player heads south of Canyon Hamlet, the Debug Room can be accessed.
Accessing
Changing from FF to 00 the bytes at 8000 and 8001 in a headerless ROM, or 8200 and 8201 in a headered ROM, enables debug mode. It can also be enabled with the Pro Action Replay codes C0800000, C0800100.
