Rescue Team Camps (Japanese: 救助隊キャンプ) are bought from Wigglytuff, from the Wigglytuff's Camp Corner found in Pokémon Square. Most of them will not be able to be bought until the player finishes the Main Story while others can automatically be obtained once the player recruits a certain Pokémon, such as Stratos Lookout with Rayquaza. The Rescue Team Camp of the partner and the player themselves will also be obtained automatically at the beginning of the game.
Differences from Red & Blue Rescue Team
Despite the return of Friend Areas under a new name, the player can no longer explore the areas like in the previous games. It is now showcased in a simplified menu with an upgraded background of the respective area. As such, the menu behaves similarly to the Chimecho Assembly in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Darkness and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky.
Pokémon shown in the menu uses their sprite-based models from the Explorers games; a few of them got new colors matching their modern artwork from the mainline games. Sylveon, a Generation Ⅵ Pokémon, is the only one to receive a new sprite-based model. Recruited Pokémon can train in the camp and gain levels if the player does not bring them in a dungeon.
