Torneko Village (Japanese: トルネコ村) is a village in the Dragon Quest Mystery Dungeon series. It made its debut in Torneko's Great Adventure: Mystery Dungeon in 1993.
History
Torneko's Great Adventure: Mystery Dungeon
Torneko moves to this village with his family to set up a store. As he explores the Trial Dungeon to retrieve the King's lost Jewel Chest
and gain his permission to explore the Magic Dungeon
, Nina and Paulo build their new house in the village, which also initially acts as a store. As Torneko sells the items found in dungeons, the store and his houses grow in size. Eventually, Torneko manages to retrieve the Joy Chest from the Magic Dungeon.

Name
