Torneko Village (Japanese: トルネコ村) is a village in the Torneko's Great Adventure series and the Dragon Quest Mystery Dungeon series. It made its debut in Super Famicom Torneko's Great Adventure: Mystery Dungeon(UT) - This is an unofficial translation. in 1993.

The player chooses the name of the village. In Torneko 2, the default name is Torneko Village. After the events of Torneko 1, the town's mayor has been forgotten and allows Torneko to rename the village at any time.

History

Torneko's Great Adventure: Mystery Dungeon

Torneko moves to this village with his family to set up a store. As he explores the Trial Dungeon(UT) - This is an unofficial translation. to retrieve the King's lost Jewel Chest(UT) - This is an unofficial translation. and gain his permission to explore the Magic Dungeon, Nina and Paulo build their new house in the village, which also initially acts as a store. As Torneko sells the items found in dungeons, the store and his houses grow in size. Eventually, Torneko manages to retrieve the Joy Chest from the Magic Dungeon.

World of Dragon Warrior: Torneko: The Last Hope

About half a year later, more dungeons begin to appear around the village, and monsters start appearing in towns. The King sends the Prince to investigate in a city to the west. A man is worried about the Joy Chest.
