Torneko (Japanese: トルネコ) is the protagonist of the Torneko's Great Adventure series. He made his debut appearance in Super Famicom Torneko's Great Adventure: Mystery Dungeon(UT) - This is an unofficial translation. in 1993.

His personality in his own game series is similar to any silent protagonist. However, by interacting with other non-playable characters and even his own family, he is known to have the typical mindset of a family man and a merchant, although he is not greedy.
